Orange tree pot of cylindrical shape, thick half round beading just below the top edge decorated with cobalt blue stripes. The body of the piece decorated with delicate flowers in blues, yellows, purply browns and greens on a creamy white ground. The handles on either side are again decorated with blue stripes with round raised discs with painted blue swirls. The main body is bordered by thin manganese purple lines above and below, outside these are thick cobalt blue lines encircling the piece.
The base is unglazed, the interior is pierced to allow the escape of water.
