PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY EMPIRE STYLE TOLE AND BRONZE OIL LAMPS CONVERTED TO TABLE LAMPS
The bulb holder mounted into the central tapering and fluted dark green column, decorated with gilt acanthus leaves at the top and bottom, resting on top of a triangular gilt capital. The whole supported by three reclining gilt griffins alternating with cast floral wreaths and resting on a raised triangular plinth with concave edges, also in a dark painted green finish. France c. 1880.
