The clock face with a silvered dial and Roman numerals, a twin train movement outside countwheel striking on a bell, contained within the patinated bronze mound.
All mounted on a gilt bronze plinth decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves.
France, first half of the 19th century. The clock has had a full overhaul and service, it is in correct working condition.
