CUPID WITH HIS BOW AND ARROW
17TH CENTURY FLEMISH TAPESTRY WOVEN IN WOOL AND SILK

The tapestry depicting cupid in the foreground wearing his helmet and wings, resting on his bow.
He stands beside a row of balustrading which terminates with a plinth decorated with the three graces in relief,
on top of this rests an urn out of which grows a small tree. Large trees can be seen in the background as if a garden and from behind these a large and grand house with balustrading along the top in the Italian style can be viewed.
