Depicting Ceres seated on a plinth whilst figures around her gather flowers; making garlands and filling baskets to celebrate the harvest. A putti flies overhead
Surrounded by a later double plain border in blue/green and yellow. Woven in wool and silk and backed in linen. 
France c. 1720.
The colours predominantly green, yellow and red, the tapestry is in good condition.
