LATE 17TH CENTURY AUBUSSON VERDURE TAPESTRY
Woven in wool with a wooded undulating landscape, a body of water in the centre and a building with a pointed roof in the distance.
Two herons stand in the foreground next to a bird of prey, surrounded by flowers and reeds.
The tapestry is in good condition, it has been reduced in size with old repairs consistent with it's age.
The tapestry has been lined and has a replacement blue and yellow plain border.
