Julia Boston Antiques has been established in London for over 25 years, specialising in fine quality French antiques & decoration. The shop on London's King's Road has become a destination for English and international interior decorators, architects and collectors. In the shop and on the website you will always find 18th and 19th century French furniture, many pieces stamped by the maker, 17th - 18th century tapestries, decorative paintings and prints often in large sets dating from the early 17th century.

Julia Boston is also the only UK representative for Jean-Paul Gourdon and his iconic masterpeices in white faience.

In addition to the antique lighting available there is also a line of new table lamps designed by Julia Boston

The ethos of the shop is to provide a selection of interesting and unusual antiques that fit into the traditional and the ultra modern interior of today.


JULIA BOSTON

Born in London, Julia grew up surrounded by antiques from an early age. At the age of 17 she started working with the Greek picture restorer Stavros Mihalarias. After learning how to gild she set up a bespoke framing business working with interior decorators and private clients. A love of antiquarian prints and the ability to frame them was the start of becoming a dealer. She has now been involved in antiques for over 30 years and has been based in London's King's Road since 2002.

SIGI CASSEL

Sigi studied photography at the International Center Of Photography in New York where she worked as an artist's assistant and dark room printer for publications such as the New York Times, Vogue magazine and Monopol. She also worked on gallery exhibitions as an artistic advisor and technical support as well as showing her own work. She joined Julia Boston in 2011.

ERIC FAVERI

Born in Pau, France, Eric trained as a classical dancer and worked with The Marseille Opera and Roland Petit's Company. He and Julia have now worked together for over 25 years and Eric heads up the framing department for the business a trained gilder he has an extraordinary sense of colour and design.

FRANCE LASSERRE

Born in the south west of France. From her adolescence France visited the flea markets on weekends to supplement her pocket money as a high school student and then as a law student. After a few years spent in Africa, she naturally decided to invest this love of antiques in the discovery of the "Bel” Objet which still fills her with joy.

France joined Julia in 2003.

NANCY

Rescued from the Riverside Animal Shelter in Croydon in March 2013. Nancy has become part of the team and often features in adverts and our Instagram page.

Rehomed in December 2013, the second addition to the hound team and now featuring regularly on our Instagram page.
