EARLY LOUIS XV ROSEWOOD COMMODE “À FAÇADE CINTRÉE”

18th century rosewood commode with two short drawers over two long. Gilt bronze handles, and escutcheons decorated with sphinx's.
The front angles with gilt bronze masks on scrolling foliate-cast gently splayed feet. With a shaped breche marble top.
Stamped A. G. under the marble. France c. 1735.
Condition: The marble has an old repair on the right hand side visible in the photographs below. The bronzes have been replaced but are not new.
