A Dutch Delft blue and white five-piece garniture with three covered octagonal gadrooned baluster vases and two octagonal gadrooned beaker vases. All decorated in cobalt blue on a white ground with cartouches depicting chinoiserie scenes of an adult and a child in a Chinese garden with an exotic bird sitting in a flowering tree and a pagoda in the background. Smaller geometric designs in cartouches surround these and geometric linear borders surround the top and the base. The three lids with lion finials.
Signed on the base, '56 JG' for Jan Gael, owner of De 2 Scheepjes Factory (The Two Little Ships) from 1707 - 1725.
