PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY BRONZE CANDLESTICKS CONVERTED TO TABLE LAMPS
Gilt and patinated bronze. The top with downward facing leaves sitting atop a central tapering and fluted column decorated with acanthus leaves at the bottom. The whole supported on a tripod base, with three griffin paw feet and resting on a raised triangular plinth with concave edges.
France, second quarter of the 19th century.
