PAIR OF EMPIRE PERIOD GILT AND PATINATED BRONZE CANDLESTICKS CONVERTED TO TABLE LAMPS
Pair of early 19th century bronze candlesticks. The gilt bronze candle holder decorated with leaves and berries
sitting on top of patinated bronze reeded tapering column supported by cast acanthus leaves in gilt bronze.
Sitting on a circular base with alternating lotus and acanthus leaves in gilt bronze. France c.1810.
Converted to lamps with faux candles and electrified for the UK. Shown with 14" gathered linen shades available separately.
The candlesticks have not been drilled.
